The silence really is deafening. The mainstream media doesn't speak out because they don't want to offend the Muslims, that is the greatest offense of all. They are afraid to condemn them and the barbarous acts they perpetrate for fear of reprisals, they behave like they're all for the Muslim terrorists and against jews and Christians. There isn't one outlet that will call them what they are, Murdering Muslim Terrorists, they couch their words for them by using terms like, insurgents, militants, fighters, militia, rebels even freedom fighters. They're gutless. Like the man said you're either with us or against us, a blind man can see which side the media and Soros have sided with.

Where's their outrage? Good question. I have an answer that a lotta people don't wanna hear. We're not outraged because it didn't happen to US. It happened in what is, for all it's blustering and blowing, basically a third-world country. It happened to people that used to be our enemies. It's like George Carlin's old "Not in MY Backyard" routine. Face it...the average American is concerned only with what happens in his or her own backyard..how it affects them......."Hundreds of people, mostly children, were killed by terrorists in a place thousands of miles away from here? How horrible. Hey, do you wanna go to McDonald's or Burger King?"

Pam,
I've said it before and I'll say it again: The only reason we freaked about 9/11 is that it happened on our shores. What about the Cole, Khobar Towers, etc. ? Nuthin' Actually, I'd prefer Wendy's.
Mrs. Montezz,
Every time I read someone elses post on this stuff it tears at me and chokes me up. I'm doing the best that I can to try and create at least a blogger memorial for this heart break. I stumbled over your posts yesterday and had inteded on putting them in today but I've been swamped with college finals (descriptive staticstics is killing me). They'll be in there as soon as I can...pray.

Very good. I only wish the good folks mentioned could have a chance to read what you had to say about them.
I automatically assumed that the reason we haven't heard from these guys is because they can't figure out how to aggressively denounce terrorism without sounding Republican.

That's the beauty of the internet, Key. Some of these egos have staff that seach google for references on a daily basis, and you would be surprised who knows when their name is used and by whom.
And I don't think it has anything to do with sounding Republican as much as it would mean they have to admit that the US wasn't responsible for 9/11, or the Russian people weren't responsible for each senseless death of a child in that school.
We've been blaming the victim in this country for years. To have to change that midset over something as icky as Islamofascist Terrorists??? Egads! How could we ever live with ourselves. Why, if we did that, we might actually have to hold Mumia accountable for being a cop-killer, and we can't do that!
/sarcasm
You know what I mean.

I thought not.
